I would never include the children in the training scenerios. Remember they are our potential threats. The last thing we need to do is further educate them as to how we are going to act against them. Staff yes. I recently taught a active shooter sc

Is there any benefit to any of these parts in a Pro Series M&P? My trigger is great, but I am always looking for better...

Ichiro's pen is the fastest to deploy due to the way it sits above (finger groove type design) the clipped in material/pocket. This may be something you do not want for comfort sometimes. The SF pen is built like a tank.

I use the Surefire's in both the large size and the newer smaller push button top. They are a good combo of price and quality. The big one also has a glass breaker. I have several Hinderer TItanium pens. They are works of art, and great until you

While it's not real tactical I've used a Stainless Parker Jotter for the last 15-20 years. Inexpensive, durable easily replaced and strong enough to use as a weapon if needed. While I realize that doesn't answer your question I figure the Parker is

Like the title said, please recommend a tactical pen that is reasonably priced and where to order one if you have a favorite order site. Thanks. Sorry, edited to say PEN.

A colleague at work has a line on a flat-top DPMS .308 for about $900 (used), and wants to know if it's a good idea. He's a former police sniper, but doesn't expect sub-moa accuracy from this. I have the idea that the primary "oops-considerati

Ben Lennett did a BUG class for 10-8 a few years back. It was excellent, and involved shooting from multiple positions (including prone and supine) as well as transitioning from a malfunctioning or empty primary handgun. My class had everything fro

Posting on behalf of a friend. Fairly new G17 Gen 3 frame with only about 1500rds downrange. She removed the finger grooves from the front strap so that it would fit her hand better and added skate tape to the front. Later she found it wasn't a legal

I like the Mitch Rosen Upper Limit (Express Line) for my P30s. This is a great belt holster for concealed carry of Commander-length and shorter pistols as it tucks the pistol in close to the body, but is quick. -Steve

Brad, I know in my area there have been a few AS exercises that included both staff and students, on a limited basis (I think one was a library only scenario), although the last one I heard of was some time ago. Certainly a good idea to at least bri

Some good advise already, I would just make sure you get what you want. If price is not an option then get exactly what you want. To add to what Erick has said about new line of scopes, the Schmidt & Bender 1.1 (1) - 8X is a very well designed

We have both. The 6.8's are our car gun (take home rides). We decide on the call type, distance of likely engagement, and other factors. Occasionally we will split and one takes his 308 and his team mate takes the 6.8 Gives us tremendous versatil

John, the class would only be for Officers who carry back-ups. As you stated, safety is the key here.. Great ideas using blue guns and possibly unloaded weapons, and I agree there would have to be few Officer's on the line at once.

Gordon, Thanks for your reply. Do all of your snipers have both .308's and 6.8's and just decide which one to go out with or do some have .308's and others have 6.8s?
